A goal that honors the Lombard city and the Italians You can already breathe an air of internationality and many talented artists like Adam Jon chose Italy, and Milan in particular, to exhibit his works. Adam Jon was born in the USA in the state of Wisconsin, a small middle american state consisting mostly of rural farmland. After completing his studies, he left his family and moved to New York in 1999. For a talented and ambitious young man, NYC represents the right challenge ...... a city that never sleeps, but at the same time scares and inhibits the small town boy. Tenacity and strong character lead Adam Jon to make his way. With a background in Industrial Machine Knitting for the fashion industry, he fell in love with fiber work and the creation of soft sculptures where there is no limit to the imagination. At first he created for himself, but he soon realized that friends invited to his home were fascinated by his work in progress, so he decided to share his talent with the "big apple”. Having grown up in a repressive rural culture such as Wisconsin, he embraced his homosexuality later in life and began to create art incorporating it and his love of the needle and thread. After years of visiting the vast Italian landscape, he chose Milan and precisely the Bangalov club to exhibit his works which blend seamlessly with the atmosphere of what the club and the art represent. The Bangalov reminds him exactly what all started in New York .... in a club June 27, 1969 ..... a club where gay boys met and could be themselves and live their sexuality peacefully.
